A Quality School
At Crestview College Preparatory High School, students will come to school ready to learn, dressed in uniform and focused on achievement. Crestview students will benefit from rigorous college preparation education. High expectations in academics and behavior, combined with a service learning component, will create an exceptional learning experience for those ready to challenge themselves to learn and grow. In addition to community service projects and opportunities, students will have the chance to participate in dual-enrollment and future Advanced Placement (AP) programs.
At Crestview, we will focus on these themes by implementing an innovative and proven curriculum, a challenging educational program and a rich variety of extracurricular activities that will develop, nurture and produce nascent leaders for the community, state and country.
For its academic component, the curriculum will provide a rigorous educational framework in language arts, math, science and social studies, as well as numerous elective and AP classes. It is mapped and aligned to state standards. A course selection guide is available to students each semester, providing up-to-date course descriptions.
All students possess unique physical, intellectual and cognitive characteristics which influence learning. Crestview College Preparatory High School will maximize the potential of all students regardless of ability by providing personalized instruction to all students in the general classroom. A special education coordinator at the school will work with teachers to provide individualized instructional programs for each student.
Full implementation of the Individualized Education Plan is provided in the least restrictive environment. Crestview embraces the philosophy that special education students can often best be educated in the regular classroom. Students also benefit from a range of scheduling options and small-group instruction.
