ClubsNational Honor Society
The National Honor Society, which is led by Mr. John Hatch, Jr., and will be conducting two induction ceremonies during the 2011-2012 school year (Fall and Spring). NHS is a valuable part of Crestview family. Yearbook The Yearbook staff and its adviser, Ms.Krogman are working on producing a magnificent book of memories for the 2011-2012 school year. Copies of the yearbook will be available French Club The French students, led by Ms. Krogman, felt the highlight of the year was a dinner outing at le Chalet, a fantastic new French Restaurant in Phoenix. The students were given a brief history of French-Swiss crepe recipes and were able to ask questions about life in France to Florence Solves during the dinner. Palomino Internship Program PIP allows students to devote time to work with elementary students on a daily basis throughout the school year. Palomino teachers and administrators repeatedly praise the efforts of our students. To find out more about PIP, contact our principal, Mr. Horton. CIP Activities The Community, Integrity & Principle service activity program got underway this school year. Crestview will be expanding the program with one its community partners, Paradise Springs Community Church. One of the long range projects is to build a play area for the community, which will include a volleyball sand pit, a basketball court and a grass area for small sided sports and recreational activities. Students are also required to create and implement service learning activities in the ECAP classes that are taught by Ms. DeJesus. |
